Jules, or Marigold, is the daughter of Midas and Rio, and niece Redux. She was introduced in Chapter 2: Season 2. She was the main protagonist of Chapter 2: Season 3 and has been a protagonist and prominent character since. She is voiced by Katie Spradlin.
History[]
Marigold was born to her mother Rio and her father Midas. After Rio was taken by Oro, Midas raised Marigold on his own. Midas was a treasure hunter and Marigold eventually went on some trips and got treasure as well. After Midas got his golden touch, Marigold was happy for her dad and told him to give her a high-five. Midas gave into the high-five, not realizing that he would turn Marigold into solid gold. Marigold stayed like that for many years while Midas built his empire and devised a plan to bring her back. As Demi said, “He betrayed, backstabbed, and ultimately killed anyone who would deny him his end goal.”
Midas eventually killed Oro and used the power of the light to bring Marigold back to life. After Marigold was brought back, she ended up with Meowscles and a few others on the outskirts of a now destroyed Agency. It is not revealed what happened, but Marigold probably passed out or fell asleep for a week. She had some amnesia but eventually remembered everything. She woke up near Lazy Lake and was talking to Meowscles, later taking his boat without his permission. She drove around the now flooded island and talked to herself about how Midas did all of this. She then remembers that Midas was her father. While all of this was happening in the last week, Midas was on a raft and was killed by a shark. As the light works, the golden touch was passed on to her and she accidentally turned the boat golden. She started crying, and shortly after, her cousin Demi found her. Marigold had forgotten her name, but she remembered. Demi then took Marigold into her father's compound and told Marigold everything that happened with her and Midas. Over a period of 3 months, Marigold worked with Demi, made her own identity, and became an engineer. Demi suggested that she should change her name because it was linked to Midas, and Marigold was trying to keep her identity secret, so Marigold changed her name to Jules and joined the Authority.
She officially left the island after getting her mother back. Midas tricked Oro into going into someone's body who could be killed, so Midas, Jules, Rio, and Skye killed Oro. Jules then decided that she should have a change, and she left the island along with her father, Midas, and her mother, Rio.

- She was once possessed by Chaos Agent.
- Even though her main skin was introduced in Chapter 2: Season 3, she was introduced in Chapter 2: Season 2.
- To prevent Midas from harming her, he gave her the power of the light and she is now the new Master of light and prefers to be called Marigold.
- In Season 6, it was revealed that Marigold is able to revert / change back to her original form, Jules.
- She was once turned into gold by Midas after a high five and stayed gold for years.
- In the Marigold voice trolling, she tells a little kid that she is 20.
- She tells Deadpool in the “Do what Marigold says or die” video that she likes Rock and Metal music more than jazz.
- Jules has been many Fortnite skins. In order, they are: Aura, Jules, Marigold, Megumi, Scrapknight Jules, and Beach Jules.
- Oro was just a few feet away from Jules when she was born.
- Her and her boyfriend’s (Fade) power are the complete opposite considering that Jules power is the light and Fade’s is the dark.
- It is never revealed how long Marigold was stuck in gold for but a good guess could be around 4 years considering that Marigold is 20 and Kit is 3, and Kit was born when Marigold came back. So a guesstimate is about 17 when she came back and 13-14 when she was turned to gold.
- She only had a single victory royale.

- Can turn people into gold by touching them

- Master Tactician
- Master Mechanic (capable of fixing almost anything in a small time period)
- Can revert back and forth from her original form, Jules, to her true form, Marigold.
